Injury Update: Beltran, Teixeira

Here’s some quick injury notes coming out of the Yankees organization today. There’s good news and even more good news.

Carlos Beltran: Carlos Beltran took 25 swings from each side of the plate at Yankee Stadium today in a soft toss session with Kevin Long. Beltran reported no issues with his elbow and will do the same exercise again tomorrow.

Mark Teixeira: Mark Teixeira went to the doctor today to get a checkup on his wrist and Dr. Keith Raskin said there’s inflammation, which was what the Yankees expected. The Yankees listed Teixeira as day-to-day.

Tex is always on DL. Need to trade him.

It is normal for Teixeira to have this inflammation considering he had the surgery a year ago. And he can't be traded regardless what anyone wishes, he has a no-trade clause.

Yes, I understand and thank you for your comments.
It's just you never know with Teixeira if he's in the line up
    Or not?
