Just a day before his 40th birthday, YES Network released the newest episode of “Foul Territory” with guest Derek Jeter–and if there’s anything Mark Teixeira has taught us, it’s the wrong way on how to interview The Captain. Jeter literally doesn’t say anything but the facial expressions and what he does at the end of the episode is what makes it a crack-up worthy episode.
I’ve said it once and I will say it again: Mark Teixeira has a future in comedy. Seriously, NBC needs to have Mark Teixeira host “Saturday Night Live” this winter. I laugh harder watching his two minute skits than I do watching an hour worth of SNL.
— Nothing’s going on in Yankee-land except for the Preston Claiborne DL issue, but aside from watching Teixeira on Foul Territory, I was able to catch the last three innings of Tim Lincecum‘s no-hitter. It’s his second one against the Padres, so congratulations to him and the San Francisco Giants.
— I believe I said this in another pregame post, but the Yankees are staying on track with the rotation, meaning it’s Vidal Nuno on Friday, Masahiro Tanaka on Saturday and Chase Whitley on Sunday (I think it’s Whitley, I have to check the official Yankees pregame notes to be certain).
