The Yankees got the start they envisioned from Hiroki Kuroda but with a lagging offense, the Yankees fell in extras with a 3-2 loss at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Yankees two runs came in the second and third innings; Brian Roberts hit one in his first at-bat in Camden Yards since becoming a member of the Yankees and Kelly Johnson soon followed with his own solo-shot.

Aside from a hiccup in the fourth inning, Hiroki Kuroda pitched very well, going seven innings while giving up two runs on three hits and striking out three. Dellin Betances pitched two scoreless innings but Adam Warren gave up the lead run in the 10th inning while retiring only one batter.

What’s Next?

Shane Greene is slated to make his second start for the Yankees and he’ll be opposed by Chris Tillman of the Orioles. First pitch is at 4:05 p.m. and the game will air on the YES Network.
