Offense stifled in 3-0 loss to Indians

Brandon McCarthy pitched very well for the New York Yankees but Corey Kluber pitched better in a 3-0 Yankees loss to the Cleveland Indians at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York.

The highlight of the Yankees offense happened to Derek Jeter, who took sole possession of  6th place on the Yankees all-time hits list with 3,431 hits.

Brandon McCarthy went 6.1 innings, giving up two runs on seven hits and striking out eight. Rich Hill retired a batter and Chase Whitley gave up a run on one hit in his 2.1 innings of work.

What’s Next?

Hiroki Kuroda will pitch in the final game of the three game set while the Indians will send Carlos Carrasco to the mound to oppose the Bronx Bombers. First pitch is at 1:05 p.m. and the game will air on the YES Network.

This is one sorry pathetic team. Pitching has been very good but the offense is horrible. Drew and Prado have not done a dam thing to help. What two nad PU's they were. This team is going nowhere.

With the Yankees, it's hard to tell if the opposing pitcher had a great game or if the NY offense was taking a nap again.
