The New York Yankees have made some minor league moves within the last hour and it involves two releases, an activation from a disabled list and a new waiver claim signing. Here’s the minor league news: 

Alfredo Aceves: The Yankees have announced P Alfredo Aceves has been reinstated from his suspension. They also announced Aceves has been released from his  minor league contract.

Adonis Garcia: The Yankees have reinstated OF Adonis Garcia from the Triple-A disabled list.

Corban Joseph: The Yankees have announced they have also released INF Corban Joseph from the minor league roster.

Chris Young: The Yankees have signed free agent OF Chris Young to a minor league contract and they have placed him on the Triple-A roster.

    Chris Young is a .230 hitter with power. That's worth about $21 million a year on the Yanks. Sarcasm aside, he might actually be a decent pickup. They desperately need some more pop in the outfield.
