Yankees Injury Notes: Prado, Nova

Well, this season has pretty much been a let-down, and I hate to be ‘that person’, but there’s some bad news on the injury front. Luckily there’s also good news. Here’s the ‘Injury Report’.

Martin Prado: Martin Prado was lifted in the 9th inning yesterday due to feeling a slight tug in his hamstring. He was seen by Dr. Ahmad after the game and he was diagnosed with a ‘tight hamstring’. Prado is scheduled to have more tests today and we should know more before the pregame notes.

Ivan Nova: It’s been a long time since we heard the name Ivan Nova, hasn’t it? He’s not returning this season, but Nova is throwing 25 pitches off flat ground at Yankee Stadium today. He says he feels good and he’s aiming for a return in 2015.
