Report: Kevin Long lands hitting coach job with New York Mets

Kevin Long

If you thought Kevin Long was going to be without a job for long, think again.

Just less than two weeks after being fired by the New York Yankees, Kevin Long found a new hitting coach job in New York…he just has to take the 7 train. The New York Mets officially tweeted they had hired Long as their coach¬†after Long had an interview with the club yesterday. Long will be reunited with another former Yankee Curtis Granderson, who had an abysmal year for the Mets in 2014. Long was the one who made Granderson’s adjustments while they were both with the Yankees.
