Chase Whitley exits game with elbow injury

Chase+Whitley+New+York+Yankees+v+Baltimore+3V4NcGnPLzGlIf the score holds up, the game isn’t the only thing the Yankees are going to lose.

Chase Whitley was removed from the game after 1.2 innings due to an apparent injury. Unfortunately the “apparent injury” has to do with Whitley’s elbow. Whitley will stay in Tampa tomorrow and will undergo an MRI, but if Whitley is expected to miss a lengthy amount of time, the move for Whitley could be Chris Capuano–Capuano recently threw over 70 pitches in his latest rehab start which would mean the next step would be Capuano throwing 90 pitches, presumably in a Major League game.
