What a game for the bottom of the line up.Three guys we were worried about a month ago,all are on the upswing. If they stay hitting,we're going places. No easy outs.Nova looked great, that's huge going forward.Keep rolling on with the series wins?gotta love it

Living in the great Southwest, I do not get to see very many games that the YANKEES are playing. But today was a very beautiful day to watch a good baseball game on ESPN. I came away very pleased that the way that the offence took the game to the White Sox. I thought that Ivan Nova did a very good job, all that I can say is GO YANKEES!!!!

  3. Didi Gregorius has really turned his game around, but so has Stephen Drew. I think it's about time to acknowledge him because Drew has hit a perfectly respectable .248/.319/.496 (An .816 OPS!!) since June 1st. If he can keep that up it will make a huge difference because, like Terry wrote, no easy outs in this lineup right now.

Really like the chemistry right now. Still think we could use an August trade to bolster the starting rotation or further strengthen the pen, but otherwise very pleased to how this team has come together with contributions from 1 to 25.

Didi & Drew & Headley do deserve some kudos for their summer ball.

I was really impressed with Severino, only allowing three hits was real impressive. It a shame that the sox unearned run cost the YANKEES the game. Looking forward to his next outing, feel that the pressure that he put on himself today will be less on his next start. I do remember Wakefield when he pitched against the YANKEES, he always gave them fits. On a few occasions they did nail him to the wall. Tracys day is coming were the YANKEES will erupt on the knuckle ball.
