Aroldis Chapman slated to pitch tonight; CC Sabathia on Tuesday

Yesterday, Yankees fans got a glimpse at Dellin Betances making his Spring debut.

Tonight, the Cuban Missile will make his way to the mound for his first Spring outing.

After throwing a bullpen earlier today, Aroldis Chapman will pitch for the Yankees tonight against the Baltimore Orioles. Tyler ClippardTommy Layne and Dietrich Enns are also slated to throw tonight. This could be the last Spring outing for Layne and Clippard as they are scheduled to leave for the World Baseball Classic. Layne is pitching for Team Italy and Clippard is pitching for Team USA.

Chapman isn’t the only Yankee that will see action in the coming week; CC Sabathia recently pitched a simulated game and came through okay. The next step would be an actual game. The Yankees confirmed Sabathia would make his Spring debut on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Rays.
