The Yankees added five more runs in the eighth on a three-run homer by Chris Carter, a wild pitch scoring Aaron Judge, and a RBI double by Chase Headley. In the ninth, Judge added an insurance run by hitting a home run that went 460 feet.

One Response to Yankees clobber Pirates in 11-5 win

  1. Jerry says:

Once again, big 3 run home run from Castro, having a great year so far. Carter with an equally big 3 run home run. He needed that, he could not suppress the smile on his face walking through the dugout after the huge dinger. A huge weight lifted off his back. Judge with another monster mash.

Pineda pitched decent, Clippard shaky, but that happens, all in all another great victory.
