Yankees reinstate Didi Gregorius from DL

It’s so good to have him back.

After missing about a month with a shoulder injury, shortstop Didi Gregorius is going to make his 2017 debut tonight against the Baltimore Orioles. The Yankees officially reinstated Gregorius from the disabled list…at Pete Kozma‘s expense.

For a corresponding move, the Yankees designated Kozma for assignment.

The Yankees have not officially filled out a lineup card, but Joe Girardi confirmed prior to the Yankees final game against the Red Sox on Thursday night that Gregorius was going to be in the lineup.

Didi' one of my favorite Yankees, so it's about time. Toe did a great job while Didi was out , no doubt. But Didi's on a different level and we need another LH bat for balance. Can't wait to see him

  2. Jim says:

Following the best pitcher's duel of the year, Didi returns to help in the best slugfest of the year and maybe the best since the Giambi grands slam in the 14th to beat the Twins.
