In the fourth, Aaron Hicks hit a RBI single, in the fifth Gregorius hit a SAC Fly, in the seventh the Yankees scored on a hit by pitch and a single by Ronald Torreyes, and in the eighth Gardner hit a two-run shot followed by a solo home run off the bat of Matt Holliday.

I give Tanaka credit for getting us into the, almost the eighth, but not pitching particularly well. And his body language at the end of his appearance was odd. Like he could not focus , jumping up and down and shaking himself and trying to get it together. I didn't stay up for the post game, maybe it was explained then. Anyway another great win. Gardner, Hicks, two guys I wanted out are playing their asses off. … Sabathia tonight, hopefully he also gives us length and has a good start.

Adlemar has had only 1 bad outing this year. Let's hope CC has corrected the issues he saw in his last game. It still won't be warm, so we may need to slug our way to a win toonight.
