MLB Rumors: Yankees will watch Tim Lincecum’s workout

Tim Lincecum hasn’t pitched at all since 2016 and hasn’t had a good season since 2011. People call this high-risk, high-reward, but this seems like medium reward, even in the best-case scenario. Still, we’re talking about a two-time Cy Young Award winner, the Yankees have got to go see him workout.

I think they meant low risk. And here's another, nothing ventured nothing gained. And no guts, no glory, go for it.

I was looking at the MLB top 30 prospect list and Tyler Austin is No. 13. This means we have 12 legitimate prospects and those below Austin are either young, at single a, and promising, or really not worth thinking about. Just a thought. We don't need scrap heap pitchers. Jordan Montgomery, our No. 5, is an above average MLB pitcher right now after one season and pitches beyond inning five. Let him pitch. We have top pitchers at Triple A ready to fill in. I think the real need may be at 3B/2B depending on what happens, and only to plug at the trade deadline for the stretch run.

Scott Boras never stops amazing me. Hosmer and Martinez signed at last minute but got comfortable $$$
